Mastey was born and raised in central Minnesota and currently resides in the St. Cloud area. He holds a bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State University in business management and aviation operations. He began developing Patrick R. MASTEY Construction in 1991, and began operating PRM HOUSING in 1993. In 1995, land was purchased for ASPEN STORAGE. In 1999, Patrick bought out the plane partnership he had been in since 1996 and established MASTEY AVIATION. He purchased his first car wash in 2001 and named it AM PM WASH. The five businesses are encompassed under the entity of Patrick R. MASTEY ENTERPRISES.
